From shipment exception to resolution

Configurable rules engine

Missed pickups, ETA changes, temperature excursions, and customs holds trigger alerts automatically.

  • Rules combine shipment, carrier, customer, lane, and time-of-day dimensions with conditional logic
  • Version-controlled and testable, so changes can be validated before they touch live operations
  • Configured per tenant or business unit, so different teams can run under different thresholds

Platform monitoring & incident response

Agistix runs on AWS with continuous monitoring and a defined process for responding to platform issues.

  • Automated alerts flag infrastructure and application issues as soon as they're detected, with 24/7 monitoring by the Agistix team
  • Each incident is prioritized by severity, assigned an owner, and tracked until it's resolved
  • Escalation is based on severity, so critical issues get immediate attention

Platform monitoring & uptime

99.999% platform uptime, monitored continuously on Amazon CloudWatch and GuardDuty.

  • Infrastructure monitoring runs on Amazon CloudWatch and GuardDuty across every layer of the platform
  • Engineering response available 24/7
  • Platform health is published publicly, with incident subscriptions available for affected components

FAQs

  • What conditions can trigger an alert in Agistix?

Rules can be built around missed pickups, ETA changes, temperature excursions, or customs holds. Rules can also be created for any custom condition combining carrier, lane, customer, or time window, with severity and logic configured per rule.

  • What happens if an alert isn't acknowledged?

If an alert isn't acknowledged within the configured time threshold, it escalates automatically to the next contact, moving from primary to secondary to tertiary based on role, time of day, and severity.

  • Can Agistix send alerts to an incident management tool like PagerDuty?

Yes. High-stakes events can post directly to PagerDuty, Opsgenie, or any incident-management surface that accepts a webhook, with signed, idempotent payloads retried automatically if delivery fails.

  • Do customers and internal operations teams see the same alerts?

Not automatically. The rules engine drives both customer-facing notifications and internal operations alerts from the same source of truth, but each is configured separately so customers only see what's relevant to their shipments.
