Maxim Integrated Products Honors Agistix for Superior Performance and Support in Enterprise, Global Logistics Management
Redwood City, Ca.—April 30, 2007—Agistix, Inc., the leading provider of Logistics Management Automation (LMA) software, today announced that Maxim Integrated Products, a multinational leader in the design, development, and manufacture of linear and mixed-signal integrated circuits, has honored Agistix with its "2006 Vendor Appreciation for Superior Performance and Support” award. Maxim presented the award at Agistix headquarters.
"Agistix did a truly outstanding job for us in 2006," said Sam Berman, director of global logistics for Maxim. "Both our suppliers and our customers have commented very favorably on a much smoother, faster, and less expensive logistics process."
Agistix implemented its LMA software at Maxim's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, centralizing decision-making control while giving worldwide users browser-based access to Agistix Heavy Freight and Small Package shipping services. Maxim also leveraged the Agistix Invoice Consolidation service which enables company accounting departments to receive a single monthly invoice for multiple shipping and logistical services.
"We're delighted that our focus on reducing shipping costs and helping to support best practices-based business processes is helping Maxim meet its supply and demand chain management objectives," said David Fox, president and CEO of Agistix. "We are honored that Maxim chose us from so many other vendors for this accolade."
