Agistix was founded by a team of experts who have brought their diverse backgrounds and skills together around a single, shared vision: to provide customers with a simpler way to manage the complex logistics of global shipping. Agistix's management team has depth of experience in technology, software development, operational logistics, sales, marketing and customer service.

David Kalov, President

David is responsible for the Sales, Finance and Administrative functions of Agistix. He has over 23 experience and has spent the last 12 years in senior management of software start-ups. Prior to joining Agistix, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Calco Insurance Brokers and Agents, Inc., where he helped streamline the company’s operations and increased its profitability. Prior to Calco, David was the co-founder and COO/CFO of Mail-Filters.com, an OEM anti-spam company, where he helped build the company from a garage start-up to have offices in Europe and Asia. Prior to Mail-Filters, David was part of the senior management team of several silicon valley based internet based startups and had played a key role in developing the companies infrastructure and business plans.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University in Finance and Strategy and a BS from DePaul University.

Trevor Read, Chief Information Officer

As Chief Information Officer, Trevor leads the entire IT organization including the product development team, and is responsible for the prioritization and execution of the product road map. Trevor is co-author of 4 patent-pending Agistix technologies including the Supplier Network and Rules driven Routing Guide.

Trevor was a founding member and Vice President of Operations & Product Management at Netclerk, a web-based transaction company that developed middleware, compliance, and security products for the government and construction industry. Trevor oversaw all product management activities as well as the national rollout. Netclerk raised more than $20 million in venture capital from lead investors H&Q Venture Associates and Adobe Ventures and was sold to construction industry search engine BidClerk in 2002.

Trevor has over twelve years of engineering and management experience. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering.

Dale Carpenter, Chief Operating Officer

Dale Carpenter is the chief operating officer of Agistix. Dale Carpenter is responsible for the Agistix Service Center which handles the Inbound Shipment Management Service, Auction Shipment Management Service, Professional Services and the company’s logistics activities. He brings to Agistix 22 years of experience in logistics operations and transportation solutions development. Most recently, he was the Director of Transportation for Océ North America where he was responsible for a carrier network providing transportation support for eight configuration centers, a central refurbishment center, a national parts distribution warehouse, 43 emergency order satellite storage facilities across the U.S., and import/export coordination for International shipments distributed throughout the U.S. Prior to Océ North America, he was the Director of Operations for R.R. Donnelley Logistics where he was responsible for seven print consolidation facilities across the U.S. and oversaw a $218M P&L. Prior to R.R. Donnelly, Dale was with Airborne Express for over ten years managing fleet operations and management. Before joining the commercial world, Dale was an Operations Officer with the U.S. Army Corp Engineers.

He holds a BS in Computer Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a MA in Computer Resource Management from Webster University.
